Speaking abstractly, maybe it is too much to try to scale "everything" with one slider. For instance, Rick would like soundings to be bigger, without growing ATON or AIS. Bruce Chen wants ATONs bigger, AIS smaller, etc....

I would like to be able to set the size of various display elements independently. Text on the screen--especially soundings--is probably more important to me than icons. Is there a reason all text is not selectable by font and point size as in most Windows programs? Many fonts are selectable in the Options/User Interface menu but the text for soundings can't be set that way. Shouldn't text that only appears on vector charts be adjusted in Options/Charts/Vector Chart Display instead of Options/User Interface?

Soundings are not text. They are raster symbols defined by the S-52 presentation library.
