Read about Chinese ONWA radar. Compatible with OpenCPN?

Hi,

are the radar antennas from ONWA compatible with the OpenCPN radar plugin?
The thread mentioned similarities with Furuno.

No, first it seems to be a "ordinary" X-Band, magnetron, radar scanner not at all the type of scanner radar_pi is adapted for.
Next, even though the physical connection method is a RJ45 (IP) or wifi no reversed engineering is made for the (MFD) protocol used.

Furuno have some good similar radar scanners connected by a similar way but so far no radar_pi engineering is made for any of these.
