Raspberry/Openplotter...no wifi!!

Hi All,

I recently bought a Raspberry pi 3. It has built-in wifi and worked a treat when I loaded Raspbian (supplied on an SD card with the RPI).

Then I decided to load Openplotter and see what that was all about. For OpenCPN it is great. I have since managed to load all my charts and a USB GPS dongle - it all works fine.

However, I no longer have wifi! How can this be so?

Please note that I am very new to Raspberry and I know naff all about writing code.

Is there a quick fix to this issue?

This should not be asked here but in the OpenPlotter forum, which is not the same as OpenCpn forum. forum. openmarine. net

What's wrong with you is normal. OPlotter starts with the wifi access point activated. You must disable it using the OPlotter configurator before you can connect to any wifi network.
