Is this intentional function or not?

My memory of the latest discussion about shortcuts is a bit fuzzy as I was not very active. I remember Dave saying something similar to " You guys make up your minds about what shortcuts you want and I'll implement them". To use CTRL+M, that has the same key code as "Enter" was not a brilliant move, probably not intentional, and has on the whole, worked out well enough.
But....
Perhaps we should consider changing to something else, CTRL+W comes to mind, if this combination does not have it's own pitfalls. I have not done any checks........yet.

That sounds good to me. Having a primary key as a shortcut does seem less than ideal.

While I been chatting here, "Nohal" did some actual coding........
Expect the next stable version of O to keep CTRL+M as a shortcut for dropping a mark at the cursor, while "Enter" will do .....nothing in the future.
A very good solution.
