Quilting for oeSENC: British Isles and France Atlantic 2023

Loaded OpenCPN on a Surface Pro
Version:5.8.4-0
Downloaded and installed oeSENC: British Isles and France Atlantic 2023
Played with Display SEttings following a number of threads on OpenGL and Weighting Settings
Still unable to make the quilting work to a level that I would consider acceptable or readable. Any suggestions welcome?

What exactly don't you like or consider unacceptable on your screenshots?

If you refer to the texts for objects:

At Options|Charts|Vector Charts
- disable National Text
- enable declutter (if not enabled already)
- test for "important text only"

Having the chart readable and filtered at different zoom levels is essential.
I attach a comparison view.

Additionally, the quilting makes the view unusable for an electronic chart and navigation tool.

I assumed it is a settings issue.

Have you tried pressing the Q key to turn quilting on and off?

Below how the charts are presented for me. Display Category "All".
Chart Zoom/Scaling for vector at +3.
