Problem: opencpn doesn't display some charts

Hi there,
I have a problem my opencpn.
I have some cm93, and many kap files.
the cm93 seems to work fine, but most of the .kap charts doesn't display at all.
I can see the chart outline of all of them, but when I zoom on, the chart bar doesn't change (in most charts). in some of them it works, the bar splits, and I can switch between the different ones.
I run it on a raspberry and on a pc, both same installation, same charts and same problem.
already tried to download them again, download the program again... now I have many folders with many charts. but it decides wich ones to show!

any ideas?

The first thing to do is to check the opencpn.log. See the manual how to find this file. The log file will tell you if O has any problems with a chart.

There are some old charts in circulation that O will not display. For example if the kap chart has no projection info (PR in the text header), it will not be displayed. This boils down to poor conversion from chart picture to a kap file, and can easily be corrected.
