Position jump

Hello all. Sometime last fall (yes liing with it this long) open cpn on my two android devices started glitching. It will track my position fine for awhile but then start jumping north/south then East/west. It may have coencided with an upgrade to android 11 but im not quite sure. Using cpn base 4.1.1028
Version 1.0.5
Ive tried redownloading ooen cpn. and also reseting my devises to no avail
If anyone has any ideas please let me know. Thx

That sounds more like the gps in your droid device is temporarily loosing position, reporting incorrect position, etc….rather than an O problem.

Possible maybe but my phone and tablet side by side glitch in unison. And started at the same time last fall. Track looks like a seismograph. PC version on a toughbook still works fine

Are you trying these in the same location? There may be a spot subject to emr or gps jamming? Not unheard of. I have an app "gps status" that I find useful. Do not run it at the same time as opencpn, but it might help you figure out what is happening.

Yeah. It happens everywhere. Over 2000 miles of cruising last winter and still. The glitch pattern of the track is different depending on what direction the boat is moving. Ive used the app gps status to clear gps cache. no dice.
