Plugin idea/request : Raymarine MFD remote viewing in OpenCPN

Raymarine uses the rtsp protocol in their remote viewing apps for Android and iPhone. I tried a generic rtsp viewer and could easily find and connect to the MFD via bonjour discovery service.

It would be great to be able to view what’s going on at the helm while sitting at the nav station with a viewport in OpenCPN.

As a future update include remote control roll of the mfd.

This would be great as you’ve got possibilities to dual map sources and tools only available in the mfd.

As usual with these type of requests, I’ve got no programming skills to speak of but I’ll gladly help out with testing.
