Looking at the google earth version, the latest version is not working on opencpn, especially for ge2kap. Sadly, it removes the APIs using on opencpn.

I am keen on using the latest version of google earth but need to spend some time to get it work on opencpn. Is it worth installing the very old version of google earth for this work? Are there other applications having similar features to see the chart like ge2kap?
