Persistent OpenGL Crashes

Something which did not seem to happen with the previous version --

O5 crashes when OpenGL is in use, and is laggy without OpenGL. Parts of charts gray out or fail to scale, then the whole thing goes poof.

Not having this issue with my laptop -- Dell XPS with Intel 8gen i7 and Win10.

But boat computer is plagued -- Beelink N41 with Gemini Lake Celeron N4100, 4g of RAM, large SSD drive.

The crashes stop with OpenGL unchecked, but then the display rendering slows way down, and I can't use the radar plugin.

Help? Is there any solution, or will I have to go back to 4.8? This would be too bad as I'm really liking O5.

Is 4.8 really completely stable? Can you reproduce the problem? I'm wondering what the differences are that cause this since it's mostly the the same rendering code.

Re: Persistent OpenGL Crashes

Exactly which version of V5.0 are you using. There was a minor patch to fix OpenGL issues on some Intel graphics hardware. Perhaps you can try that version?

Re: Persistent OpenGL Crashes

So I download the current v5.0? It's got the same version number?

When was the patch issued? Maybe that's why my laptop - upgraded to 5.0 only recently - doesn't have this issue.
