Own Ship Icon Heading

Is it possible for the icon for my boat to be oriented according to the compass input instead of COG? When I am at the dock or at anchor it bothers me to see my ship icon spinning around.

Thanks,
Greg

Re: Own Ship Icon Heading

Greg...
As you can see on this screenshot, the boat is oriented according to HDG, when available. In older versions of OpenCPN there was a bug in this though, so if you are not at 3.2.2, upgrade. If you are and it still does have a problem, please post a while of your NMEA stream recorded with the VDR plugin...

Re: Own Ship Icon Heading

Thank you Pavel. Upgrading from 3.2 to 3.2.2 took care of it.
