opencpn5 crash great circle

Hi


When trying to create routes, Opencpn 5 crashes whenever the prompt asking me to choose whether I want the great circle route or not is displayed. It doesn't matter if I choose yes or no. This has only started since a Windows update yesterday, it's Windows 7 Pro. I've tried searching the forum, so wondering if this is a new problem or not. Thanks for any help

This is a new problem, probably not an OpenCPN problem.
Any other problems related to the win 7 update?
Other users experience of that update? Try to search the net.

Long story short it turns out I had 'Enable Touchscreen interface' checked under 'User Interface' options. I unchecked it, problem solved. I'm running opencpn5 on a Panasonic CF-19 toughbook.

My Linux system also crashes doing the same thing.
This should not happen. I'll enter it as a bug in the tracking system.

My Raspbian Buster system with touch interface crashes when trying to plot a great circle route too.

I'm running OpenCPN 5.0.0-0-bionic1 which is the only release candidate for Raspbian Buster
