OpenCPN wont open
I'm running opensuse linux, and it (OpenCPN ), was running fine then it quit loading. Iinitially OpenCPN wouldn't update so i tried to update manually from opensuse repository but no joy.
Can someone help please?

It seems you have a mixup between wx versions installed - as far as I understand you need the libraries provided in Dominig's repository.

If 'openCPN' is not a typo you can use command-not-found to lookup the package that contains it, like this:
cnf openCPN
linux-d9oj:~ # which openCPN
which: no openCPN in (/sbin:/usr/sbin:/usr/local/sbin:/root/bin:/usr/local/bin:/usr/bin:/bin:/usr/bin/X11:/usr/games)

What are you trying to tell us? The OpenCPN binary on linux is called (no capitals).

ok, i uninstalled the old version and installed a fresh copy and it works now except for the gps - for some reason i can't make it work
