Dave...
Not only, I have just reproduced it on macOS after invoking route properties by clicking on the Properties... button in the manager - The selection visually stays where it was, but the pointer is on the first element of the list.

Hmmm... Discovered this on XUbuntu.. What's the term for that menu in Linux?
I probably use an odd combination on keys and mouse. I try to use keyboard where possible.

Moo...
AFAICT, this is not a regression. I see the same thing in OCPN 4.8.8.
Either way, I don't think we can easily fix this. The navigation keys in a list like this are exclusively handled by the wxWidgets libraries. We would need to drill into those libraries, find a fix, and then write a lot of code to encapsulate our fix. Not productive just now....
But it could go onto the long term Flyspray list, if you like.
Sorry

Thanks all. I'll check it out next version.
True; it may not be a regression come to think of it, sorry about that.

Re: OpenCPN Version 5 Beta Release 4.99.1507
I tested 1507 with the recent version of radar_pi. Works fine on Windows and Ubuntu (tested 1508), but fails on Mac OS-X, no radar image. Was fine with the 1407.
I just reinstalled O 1507 and radar_pi, now immediate crash, don't understand. Log below:

Anything useful in the macOS crashreport? What you posted seems like a normal startup to me, until it stops.

Is it possible to feed it with data using tcpreplay/udpreplay and if so, what sample should I use?

Re: OpenCPN Version 5 Beta Release 4.99.1507
Pavel,
You are great! The line you pointed out is an issue that could crash with more than 2 radars. Correction will be in master soon. I did put logging on it, but in my case it is not the cause of the problem. With 1507 I still get empty radar windows (some text, no range rings), but no crash.
However I compiled yesterdays OCPN master "Return focus to selected..." (and found out how to put the plugin on it). This version runs radar_pi fine! Issues solved. All this is on Mac OS-X, pretty new to me.
I will come back on the tcpreplay soon.

Pavel,
Here is a link to a wireshark file that you can use with tcpreplay
https://www.dropbox.com/s/7ropdspz7p...el.pcapng?dl=0
It has a 4GA and 4GB radar on it simultanously, fine to run in dual canvas. I normally run it with: sudo tcpreplay --loop=2500 --intf1=eth0 double_channel.pcapng
In case you want to simulate a position and heading to enable a radar overlay you can un-comment the lines 969-975 in radar_pi.cpp, starting with: //// for overlay testing only, simple trick to get position and heading

Re: OpenCPN Version 5 Beta Release 4.99.1507
One remark on the full screen OCPN on Mac OS-X.
In full screen mode the close button becomes visible (jumps down) when you hover the mouse pointer towards it. But when the close button appears it is behind the OCPN menu bar and can not be reached. You must first resize the display (resize button is just visible), after that O can be closed.
I think OCPN menu should be a bit lower on screen.

Re: OpenCPN Version 5 Beta Release 4.99.1507
Found what I think is a display error in the 4.99_1507 release. The instrument panel is showing the GPS compass, COG, and True HDG are all displaying 192 degrees while the Magnetic HDG says 185, which is correct. But the course markers are both showing 192 degrees. The 'magnetic arrow' should be at 185 degrees as in the instrument panel. Right?.

Hej Lennart...
I'm not sure what you mean with course makers and magnetic arrow.
But please see my shot if it helps.
