Notes:

163: For those having trouble with OpenGL on Vista, sailorF54 take note...

179. Especially important to be tested by those using user defined ownship icon.

Don't forget to check and update "Your" Flyspray issues.
Lacking feedback, I will be summarily dismissing some older tasks as "Finished" if I cannot reproduce them.

The object of this game is to drive that task list down to near zero before Release, or at least understand the implications of any bugs (features) we decide to not fix.

v. 1609 seems to work fine on Vista.. Thanks a lot fellers.....

My POI links now activates.
AIS targets are visible but needs more testing to see if they remain.

I seem to have lost the GE plugin. Is it not compatible with this version?

And, just so I keep my bugs straight, there is hang/crash on switching to OpenGL with raster chart displayed, every time?

Make sure you have the new build of the GE plugin from https://github.com/downloads/nohal/O...i16_v09_pi.dll

The one linked from the official site is not compatible with the new betas.

Check your logfile. There should be some indication of "incompatible PlugIn" for GE PlugIn. c.f. Item # 173

Yes, the log stops here when the program hangs (no computer crash; I have to stop the process)

Yes, every time, with kap charts from different suppliers. Also when cold starting with OGL on.

BTW, I could not find a driver upgrade for the ATI Radeon I am using. Last one was in 2009.

Boat at standstill, OpenCPN orienting the own ship icon per heading sentences from NMEA:

• Picture 261609-01-North-Up: N-Up chart, orientation of own ship OK
• Picture 261609-02-North-Up: slightly skewed chart, orientation of own ship slightly wrong
• Picture 261609-03-North-Up: chart skewed by ~120deg, orientation of own ship is wrong by ~120 deg.

OpenGL is off

I for one haven't any skewed charts for my gpsPosition! plus, my ownship swings around when (absolutely) stationary whatever chart I use...

Very good, but please don't show the dialog for test messages.

I suggest that test messages goes to the bottom of the list. As is now it's on top among MOB and distress calls.
