Opencpn Recovery of Recorded Tracks????

Hi All,

Hopefully someone can help....we have been cruising for the last 2 months, and I have been recording the track/ navigating using CPN...
Our PC had some issues and we backed up the OPENCPN Folder, as with other important folders before rolling back and a clean install of OS on PC....

I hadn't read the manual prior about saving GPX tracks etc ....now having reinstalled OpenCPN, and Charts etc.....NO TRACKS for the last 2 months......arrrrrrrr

Does anyone know if they can/ were auto backup, or any secret little place that I might be able to view again......

Look for files called "navobj". The location depends on what OS you are/were using. if you only backed the program folder, and not your local user settings folder, the risk is you've lost it, I am afraid.
