OpenCPN Problem!?

Since today my OpenCPN charting system version 2.6 is not opening up, it just says "Chart Plotter and Navigator has detected a problem and must close". I have downloaded the new version 3.0 and still have the problem.

I have run my 2 anti-virus programmes with no malicious find.

Does anyone else have this problem?

When reinstalling, one of the options is to keep or replace the current settings. Try replacing them.

First have a look here Installing OpenCPN | Official OpenCPN Homepage.

Follow the instructions to find your "opencpn.ini" file. Rename it to whatever. Try to start OpenCPN. If successful, it will be like a new install.
Attach the renamed file in a post to this forum, by first adding a ".doc" at the end of the filename. If you still have problems, attach the "opencpn.log" file as well.

I finally de-installed and re-installed (after many tries over a weak wifi link) the system. Thanks.
