Hi,
I downloaded the recent stable release (3.0xx) for Ubuntu 10.04 LTS and I am running it on a 8" Xenarc Touchscreen on my
boat as my main chart plotter. I was out sailing at night the other day as a shakedown for this setup and I quickly figured out that the buttons are a bit too small. They
work but I ended up touching the
MOB button more than once. :-(
Is there anything I can do to alter the size of the buttons, and prevent them from going transparent. (I do
software development, so if I need to get into the source code, I would be willing to do that.)
Also, I have no right click option with the touchscreen driver for 10.04, so I may try Ubuntu 12.04 since the
screen is better supported in that version (I have been told).
Of course Ubuntu 10.04 was not designed for touch
screen operation so the OS buttons are also too small. Any suggestions for a different
Linux distribution that is better geared for touch screens?
Thanks, Dave
