OpenCPN not opening properly

Hi
I have a new install of OpenCPN within an OpenPlotter install. It is not starting up properly and seems to be a child window. I have attached a pic of the brand new install. Thoughts?
Thanks in advance, James

Re: OpenCPN not opening properly

I have exactly the same problem.
Had to go back to 5.8.4 again.
Raspberry 5
Bookworm
X11

Latest installer
Tried both PPA and Flatpak same result

Re: OpenCPN not opening properly

This vertical line is the horizontally super-minimized welcome window. Try pressing enter and you should enter opencpn as usual.

Not 100% go! Pressing enter OpenPlotter starts with a world map for a few seconds.
Then a blank screen, scale 1:0.
Tried to rebuild the chart database, program crashes.
Restarting and the it starts in safe mode.
Disable all plugins does not help.

I am a bit lost what to do next.

Re: OpenCPN not opening properly

Followed the instructions but still the same problem.
Deleted 5.10 did a reboot, installed 5.4 and disabled all plugins.
Did an update from PPA 5.10.
Started with a new config file, no go.

No charts shown, when trying to rebuild the charts, it crashes.
When restarting it starts in safe mode.
