OpenCPN Not Finding Toughbook's GPS

I have OpenCPN installed on my Toughbook CF-30. The GPS is working on COMM3, but I'm not able to get OpenCPN to find it. I have the baud rate set at 4800, which I think should be correct. I was able to see the streaming data from the GPS unit using another program, so the GPS unit is working. Any thoughts?

You will have to be far more specific about this. What are you not finding? The Help sections or the GPS? What are you doing? What steps have you taken, add some screenshots. Read the help files too.

There are many knowledgeable users here willing to help, but you need to do some reading and explain what steps you are taking otherwise we will not be able to help.

Try using an external gps puck. Does it work?
