OpenCPN map offline onboard

I am developing a mobile application, and I need to display the OpenCPN map in a section of my App, but I must see the map offline on board.

I have a GPS on my ship that gives me my location, and I downloaded the map of the area that interests me but, is there an API to be able to occupy the offline map or something to see the point (lat/lon) in my App with this map?

The GPS will give you a location that you can plot on your own map. You distribute the GPS by whatever means you like. But assuming that the GPS is connected to your OCPN computer just create and output port and connect however you desire; ethernet, wifi, serial, etc.
