OpenCPN for Macs

I followed the leads as far as I could,
but still do not know if there is an OpenCPN available for MACs.

If not, I should be glad to know what kinds of CPs can be used,
in general terms. I have a Dutch Toshiba on my boat that I cannot reach at the moment. It is 3 years old.

a little older than the other versions at 1.3.6

I have found it to work perfectly on Intel based macs, but on powerPC based ones, I have had issues accessing the chart portfolio
