OpenCPN Chart For Inland Lake

Any suggestions how to find charts for inland lakes? My area east of Rockies does not have charts in the usual free sources. I'm wondering about some source similar to what issue hiking and hunting maps. I don't mind a small fee, I just can't find any options. I'm not an expert with file type that I really even know what I'm looking for. I can practice with typical free chart sources for the PNW so given a chance, I can manage.

I've never found electronic charts for OpenCPN for small inland lakes, but Navionics includes charts for small lakes. You can check out their website for free to see if your lakes are covered.

I don't need lake information, I just want shoreline mapping. If I connect with USFS or BLM do you know how to describe the file type?

You can genereate MBTiles for use in OpenCPN from pretty much anything using Sat2Chart/SASPlanet.
