I have a
Raymarine eS98 at the
helm along with a
NMEA 2K backbone (Raymarine NG). Connected to the
Raymarine NG backbone is a Yacht Devices N2K gateway that then connects via ethernet to my ship's computer (Intel NUC running Windows 10). Using
OpenCPN on my NUC, I am able to receive data without problem; however, I loose data on my chart plotter, specifically the
rudder indicator as well as
autopilot function. If I unplug the ethernet cable (disconnect from my NUC) and restart my chart plotter, all
autopilot information is then available on the chart plotter.
Is there a step-by-step process simple enough someone can walk me through to problem solve this, or is sorting this out likely too convoluted for someone such as myself with zero technical
training when it comes to N2K data transmission/sharing?
