Re: OpenCPN & Furuno NavNet3D

Muttnik....

I took no offence. I have ranted elsewhere about the NMEA V4 tags, and the re-writing of history implicit therein. We were not the only ones affected by tag blocks.

The OnSocketEvent() code should have worked for the Navnet packets. Needs to be debugged and understood. Also on my list, I guess.

Thanks for helping jpterj get going.

I have to disagree with a comment that you will not get any help from FUruno tech support. I have quite a but of Furuno equipment onboard and their tech support has been nothing but excellent over the years.
