OpenCPN 5.6.2 on Android 11 not showing AIS targets

I'm using a Samsung Active Tab 3, which recently updated to Android 11, and OpenCPN 5.6.2. AIS worked fine last season, now I do not see any AIS targets. I did not change any settings.
In the AIS target list I see dozens of ships, details incl. Position are ok - but they are not shown on the chart. I have duplicated all settinngs on another tablet (Lenovo Tab4, Android 7) - there the ships are shown as expected on the chart.

Any ideas what could cause this error?

Have you checked the AIS settings in OpenCPN?
Settings / Ships / AIS Targets.
If you have both "Lost Targets" settings checked, it could be that you are filtering the targets. Filtered targets still show on the list, but not on the chart.

It has taken a few days, but I managd to solve the riddle:
The "Charts Option" hamburger menu in the lower right of the screen has an option "Show AIS Targets". It was off on my tablet....
My own stupidity, of course - but hatd to find, settings for one feature in multiple locations is not the best GUI style 😉
