Yup, I agree with Bram, you are probably not running flatpak but a normal version (.deb package).

On Windows I think you forgot to update the catalog. The last update date is shown in the GUI.

Re: opencpn 5.6.2 flatpak RPi4 Radar will not install

Well, I fumbled my way through. I thank both of you, verkerbr and merrimac. Now, I have OpenCpn on my Raspberry Pi with the radar plugin and the last step is to take it down to the boat and get it to work.

Here's what I think I did. First of all, flatpak is installed automatically with Bullseye, which is the OS used in the latest OpenPlotter (OpPl) upgrade.

1 I went to OpPl in the Pi main menu, opened the settings, updated them all.

2. Then I opened the OpenCpn installer and after messing around uninstalled the existing OpenCpn.
3. Next I installed OpenCpn from the flatpak menu, which is mandatory for the 64 bit bullseye.

4. Finally, I opened OpenCpn, went into Options, Charts and updated the Plugin Catalog and finally there was the radar plugin in the list.

5.Installed it, had a couple of beers in celebration and will install it in the boat.

Please note that the above procedure is only to help me remember.

Again, I thank verkerbr and merrimac.
