OpenCPN 5.6.2 - Crash on waypoint "Send to GPS"

Finding this on both Mac and Windows versions.

If I create a route, and then click a waypoint and choose "Send to GPS", the app just crashes.

It seems to do it regardless of whether there is an active NMEA connection.

I can confirm the same on Win10.

It works though if using a network connection but that may be of no help for you?

Yes - I can recreate it working using a Network connection instead of the Serial connection.

I could certainly use UDP temporarily until it's fixed
