OpenCPN 5.2.0.8-0 & Signal K input

When using an SK protocol input to connect OpenCPN to the GPS, everything seems OK, excepted : - the GPS Status (in the Dashboard) which is no longer populated (no data) ; - the NMEA display windows (option/connections) which is no longer populated . Context : RPI4 - 8GB, Raspbian, OpenPlotter 2.4.1.

Data is in SignalK format and does not show the GPS status. But you can switch on the number of sats that you are receiving.

If you like to have instruments available use the SignalK application MXTommy Kip.

You can arrange instruments for all the data available in SignalK.

Is HTML and can be used in every browser on every system.

Here an example. GPS reception in the SignalK server, data from SK to OpenCPN, charts set Oesenc (O-charts) with the usb dongle.

Didier..
A lot in the air here. Some more:
Instrument "GPS status": Read also the discussion here:

NMEA Debug window: The Signal K protocol is not NMEA0183 so does not pass the multiplexer and are therefore not shown.
You can use the SignalK server "Data browser" to see what's transmitted.
