opencpn 4.4 stable install on debian jessie

Hi the Community !
trying to install the stable versions of opencpn-4.4 on a debian jessie 8.6, I follow the recommandations :
Code:
#add-apt-repository ppa:opencpn/opencpn
Code:
#apt-get update
answer:
Code:
W: impossible de récupérer http://ppa.launchpad.net/opencpn/opencpn/ubuntu/dists/jessie/main/binary-amd64/Packages : 404 Not Found
the '/etc/apt/sources.list.d' got
Code:
opencpn-opencpn-jessie.list
that contains :
Code:
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/opencpn/opencpn/ubuntu jessie main
# deb-src http://ppa.launchpad.net/opencpn/opencpn/ubuntu jessie main
but in the ppa page :
https://launchpad.net/~opencpn/+arch...ncpn/+packages
contains no 'jessie' reference, only 'trusty'

Quote:
Debian Stable (Jessie)
You can use the packages from the Ubuntu PPA mentioned above. The compatible Ubuntu Release is Trusty
so have I to just modify the 'sources.list.d' by this way :
Code:
deb http://ppa.launchpad.net/opencpn/opencpn/ubuntu trusty main
?

thanks in advance.
regards

Yes, simply replace jessie with trusty and you should be fine

Re: opencpn 4.4 stable install on debian jessie

Maybe we should have a note about this in Install?
