We upgraded today a small system from W10 to W11 and OpenCPN (in that case the latest beta) is running same as before.
The oeSENC and oeRNC license keys did "survive" the operation as well.

W11 is said to be more ressources demanding than W10.
You wrote "We upgraded today a small system" . You mean a low power device?
If that's true, what the effect of the performance ?

Low power, lower range processor. But hey, for 141€ and incl. W10 Pro...



We did not notice any difference between W10 and W11 - however the purpose was to test the compatibility of OpenCPN, the oeSENC/oeRNC and the upcoming unified o-charts-plug-in with W11, so we did not pay special attention to the performance.
All our W10 system at hand would not fulfill the W11 requirements regarding the processors. For example a Microsoft Surface Go2 from 2 years ago...

If I would be worried about performance, the first thing to add would be a M.2 SSD, as the internal eMMC is known to be slow.
