How about eliminating WiFi from the problem by temporarily setting the Vesper to send it’s NMEA stream to OpenCpn over USB?

Aedan, good idea. We tried that and he says it works. I guess I would try connecting to the internet to see if it throbs and if it does delete that driver and restart if it is windows. Or perhaps try wireshark to learn more.
