open cpn cant find com port
Hi, I am having an issue using windows 7 64 bit where I am able to install the serial to usb fine, it is showing in device manager fine and I have run successful loop back tests on the port but within open cpn the com port is not listed so open cpn is not getting any data.

Can anyone help me out with this issue?

Which version of OpenCPN?

Generally,... if you know the port, just enter it yourself, even if its not listed.

Ok. I see now. It wouldn't let me select the port without the caps lock on.
