OPEN CPN

1st thank you very much for the developer of Open cpn; from long time i have my version of CM93 map and I'm very happy to use it again with Open CPN... These last days I try SEAiq Open on my Ipad but I don't arrive to load the chart... I'm disappointed... Somebody know another program to use CM 93? Thank You

There are many here who use the ipad and may be able to help. Optionally, OpenCPN can be used on android tablets in a linux chroot environment. So, if you were to buy an android tablet and follow instructions here: Building on Motorola Xoom | Official OpenCPN Homepage you'd be able to use your cm93 charts. You can also use the built in gps. 10" duo core tablets are recommended. 16 GB tablet is good, 32 GB better. I am not aware of an android tablet owner - any make - failing to succeed in getting linux and OpenCPN onto their tablet...

I'm the author of the SEAiq apps for Apple iPads. I'm sorry you are having trouble using SEAiq Open. We have instructions on our web site specifically for OpenCPN users to transfer their charts into SEAiq. It is important to follow them carefully. If it still doesn't seem to be working, let me know and I'd be happy to help you. I have 100% success getting users up-and-running!
