Only one active KAP file

I have created and then added a couple of KAP files to OpenCPN. I can see their border but I have to click them individually to actually see them - and only one of them can be active. I must be missing something. Any thoughts what I am getting wrong here?

Activate "quilting" - the "Q" key. You are most probably in single-chart mode.

I tried that before and had problems - oddly enough it's working now.
So thanks for making me try that again

I don't quite get the logic which chart is getting picked when though.
The manual isn't very specific on that - or I missed it.

Had you updated the chart db after changes?
Are you putting all kaps in a chart-kap folder, adding that path to chart files, then making a chart group for kaps and selecting that group?

Also scan the chart db!
