Post Offsets and/or pick points in OpenCPN

Hello.

New user here. I would like to shift where the waypoint is dropped. Rather dropping at the antenna, I would like to have it drop where we are dropping a camera frame off the stern. Basically I would like to tell the software "drop the waypoint X meters back and X meters to starboard or port". Has anyone done anything like this? It seems like a simple enough task, but I can't seem to find any info in the manual or on this forum.

Cheers!

Re: Offsets and/or pick points in OpenCPN

Ships -> Ship Icon Type -> Real Scale Vector
Adjust the length and beam to match where you want the drop. Leave GPS offset at zero.

Drop the mark at the port/starboard quarter.
