The minimum required Android is 4.4.
If the plug-in can't be installed for other reasons on your device, you should get a message.
Under Android there is no (visible) fingerprint.
The procedure:
- latest Android OCPN
- install oeSENC plug-in
- if this works,
license charts or if you have
charts already then as next
- from Options|Charts|oeSENC follow the instructions
- You will get your licensed chart sets listed
- The plug-in will ask you if you want to asociate a chart set to this device
- Select and confirm to assign
- Next you can request a chart set, that will be prepared for the device.
- Once finished, the plug-in offers to download and install the chart set.
Chart sets licensed can be installed on a standard system as always and on a Android as back-up in parallel for example.
A mixed use of a chart set is possible. Androids and others.
Or on Android with one spare back-up on stand-by.
No iOS as there is no
OpenCPN for iOS.
