OCPN status bar

Installed 5.6.0 recently during a period of little sailing activity. Today I noticed whilst under way that the status bar displays the cursor location with range from the boat and Lat'/Long coordinates. It used to show range and bearing from boat. The current manifestation is kinda useless and I've not found a way to get back to the previous display.

OpenCPN is not like Windows where you always need the latest updates to be safe. Quite the contrary it is better to use the oldest OpenCPN to be safe at sea.

You have still the two data sets - Pos. Lat/Lon and Bearing/Distance.

That's a bug, on Windows only. Introduced by upgrade to wxWidgets 3.1.5. Well understood, and on the list for correction in next OCPN update.

In the interim, installing and enabling the Statusbar plugin still shows the bearing as well in the default Statusbar string (which is customisable).
