NV-Verlag plugin and Hafenlotse

With the 2017 NV-Verlag Denmark series the so-called "Hafenlotse" (harbour pilots) are also available in digital format. I checked there own app and they appear as icons on the digital map. Checking these opens the Hafenlotse. It seems though the plugin for OpenCPN does not support this (it is only shown as a reference nbr to the printed version). Any tips?

I guess you are talking about such things as shown in the attachment here. The actual NV plugins only supports the display of the encrypted NV charts. For harbour or anchoring databases exists no standard and so any company makes its own. An example of such databases is the Squiddio plugin for OpenCPN, but there exists others like "ActiveCaptain" (not available for OpenCPN). Someone need to write a plugin for the NV harbour database to use these data.

Thanks Gerhard, I was afraid it was something like this. As I have no idea on how to code this, I'll use the printed version.

Hi Dirk,

you have very good idea, about "hafenlotsen". I made small Proof-of-Concept. See attached Image. Would that be enough?
