Re: No buoys on ENC charts

It sounds reasonable that buoy data would be updated weekly. The buoy tenders are out almost continuously repairing, replacing and repositioning buoys as river stages change on the Mississippi. On the Tennessee because of the locks and dams things don't change nearly as much. The WACHATWA comes through our area only three or four times a year. Knowledgeable users of OpenCPN should know how often they need to update the buoy data for their area.
