No. There is nothing like that from NMEA 2000 included in OpenCPN. OCPN can only understand NMEA 0183.

There are plenty of third-party apps for that. If you want something more or less integrated have a look at Openplotter running on the Raspberry Pi.

The TwoCan plugin can connect OpenCPN to NMEA 2000 networks. It converts most NMEA 2000 navigation messages to their respective NMEA 183 sentences and forwards them to OpenCPN.

At the stroke of a pen the TwoCan plugin could convert NMEA 2000 engine data however other than the NMEA 183 RPM and XDR sentences there are no direct 1:1 conversions.

More importantly however, until the dashboard plugin supports additional gauges (RPM, Oil pressure, Water temperature, etc.) there is no way to visualise such data in OpenCPN.


As others have suggested, SignalK or Openplotter may be more appropriate solutions.
