Hi All,
I've been researching this for a while and I've started acquiring
parts for the build. I'm using an old
Autohelm 800 for the ram and arduino uno (as I have them in bulk) as the
motor controller with a pololu 18v15 doing the driving in servo mode. It'll be set up with a shunt looking at the voltage/current to sense the end stops.
The main confusion is I'm building an rpi4 openplotter system using the motissier hat 2. my understanding is that this has pypilot on it, do I need a second dedicated pizero as well or will running the
serial lines a few meters from the openplotter straight to the arduino be fine with the hat supplying the IMU data?
so it'd be openplotter/pilot -> USBserial -> Arduino is that right?
Thanks all,
Stay safe
