Measure Tool - Permanent Lines ?

Is there a way to use the measure tool and have the line left on the screen? This would be great for drawing danger/clearing bearings on the charts. It would also be useful to me to be able to "predict" set and drift as well as draw LOPs on the chart.

Many of the graphics that I use in my navigation manual were done using a similar tool in Offshore Navigator.

Re: Measure tool - "permanent" lines?

Jack,
with measure tool it's not possible. The common practice to do such stuff in OpenCPN is to use routes and waypoints. Combine with layers for the more permanent stuff and colors in the latest betas and you could be happy.
