Matsutec AIS/GPS Units upload waypoints OpenCPN?

Does anybody have the above Matsutec AIS or AIS/GPS unit connected to OpenCPN with uploading capability of waypoints, routes or both? My Garmin 76S and 128 both packed up with black screens that nobody wanted to fix in South East Asia. I replaced both of them with the above for less than one new Garmin but I have trouble getting them connected properly and uploading.
