Mac user problems

Have set up open cpn on my mac. Everything works well except that I cannot access any options using the right click function eg tides, measure etc. have set up open cpn on my old PC and this function works fine. Am not using a separate mouse just the mouse pad on the computer.
Any suggestions?

What version of OpenCPN have you installed?

Can you try with a USB mouse plugged in, just as a check?

Have installed version 3.0.2

Don't have a separate mouse as yet, preferred not to use one , being on a yacht

Adjust the trackpad to your needs in OS X settings. Secondary click can be either 2 fingers, 1 finger lower left corner or 1 finger lower right corner.
