Im hoping for some insight here as im not too tech saavy and getting confused...
All im trying to do id get a heading line to go along with my typical GPS
and COG .
I have purchased a lowrance point 1 and so i am trying tofigure out what adapter or converter is required. So i have a surface pro 4, point 1, and an nmea 2000
I have read about the AMEC NK80, Actisense ngw-1 and ngt-1, and the yaht devices YDNU-02....Which one do I want? Am i correct that the yaht devices has 3 modes and can ork with 2000 or 0183.? Is this the only one that will convert both 0183 and 2000- so it would work
aswell as coastal explorer or sopme of the other newer programs? Thanks so much.
Also one other question- as far as power to the nmea2000 backbone can i use a 110v ac inverter
to 12volt dc? and is 10 watts enough? Thank you
