This is the first few messages from the VDR file, look the same on yours?

I set "show nmea debug window" then closed options and clicked the VDR play button on and off.

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Used the test nmea file from here:

https://opencpn.org/wiki/dokuwiki/do...ugins:logs:vdr

Did a simple test with GPS auto time and everything seems to be correct.

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

To check and update some of the PR's to logbookkonni, II've used Rasbats repos, and am adding a new pr (one at a time) to provide a test version of the plugin for other Windows users to test. Then I will add the last two Pull Requests and provide another test. The file is for Windows Beta Testers and is located here
https://ci.appveyor.com/project/rgle...uild/artifacts

Here are some screenshots. It is quiite fully featured now.
When you have tested some features please report back here. Thank you.

Hi Rick,

Is this the 1.4006 Version ?

Ive not found a 1.3006 version that will compile without debugging to do a comparison.

Most of it works Ok on macOS some of the window background globals go awry if you look at preferences. The background goes white. I think this is not unique to the logbook it has been sorted out on the dashboard and tactics. Im inclined to think it is more wxWidgets stuff to sort. Qt isnt any better btw

The crew and watch stuff isn’t intuitive or not completed ?

How do i make sure that the time stamp from the automatic entered events match the time stamp from the manual entered events?

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

No this is not a Version.

It has not been released it has just been compiled by Appveyor after my PR and Merge of these proposed changes:

I wanted to see if they would work properly.

Is this the 1.4006 Version ?

Are you referring to Rasbats 4.1.006 Version which is here?
https://github.com/Rasbats/LogbookKonni-1.2/releases

Looking at the code for that commit, it is just titled

however it appears to also include the macOS changes too.
I was just trying to help you Mac guys out.

BTW= I am going to avoid helping mac guys who have

1. Compiled their plugin themselves from ancient and undetermined sources.
2. Do not explicitly state what they have done, who's repository and what branch they have used.
3. Do not state what version of the OS.
4. I will respond to users who have downloaded from the known sources such as the website downloads page and other authors appveyor Artifacts or other CI sources.
5. Those who are helping to test plugins, we will generally know what sources they are using, and what OS but that is always helpful to have stated explicitly.

---Just my 2 cents and my personnal policy.

BTW Ron, this is not directed towards you..

Also, to avoid future confusion and waste of time, I think PR's that have been accepted should be merged!
so I think someone should advise Ptulp that these two PR have been tested and merged so they are not hanging around confusing everyone!!!!
It would be so much clearer, but that is not my job!
It is a matter of good communication doing the actions, IMHO.

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Hello,

Can someone check if the error I found is reproduced on his computer too ?

To check, you must position yourself in the logbook at the 3rd tab (Engine / Sail) and click several times on "add a line".

On my computer, I notice that the label of the 3rd line is 1RPM (instead of 3); same thing for the 6th line (2RPM instead of 6); see the attached illustration.

I think this problem happened when upgrading from version 5.0 because the term RPM no longer appears in the labels of the columns, instead we just have # 1.

Report made on two Windows10 PCs, Logbookkonni (versions before and after the wxWidgets changes).

Thanks Rick.

I notice on the photo (line1, column2) that you have the same error RPM1 and RPM2 and that the label RPM disappeared, replaced by # 1 (3rd column) ...

Is this related to the use of wxWidgets 3.1.2 or is it a bug in the LogBook ?

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

On an old laptop (Win7, 32bits), I had kept OCN 482.

By testing the same nmea data file and with the same changes made to the logbook, I do not have the errors found on the latest version.
Even the label "#1 RPM" is here (3rd column).

This error is solved in version 1.4008 on github:
