Am I missing something? Thanks for any assistance.

$ locale

LC_NUMERIC="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_TIME="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_COLLATE="en_US.UTF-8"

LC_ADDRESS="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_TELEPHONE="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_MEASUREMENT="en_US.UTF-8"
LC_IDENTIFICATION="en_US.UTF-8"
I have put a test version in:
opencpnplugins - Browse /logbookkonni_pi at SourceForge.net
File is:
logbookkonni_pi_1.2019tst-1_amd64.deb

Could you download it and see if this solves the problem?

Thanks,
Peter

Sorry about that.
There is now also a download for i386 machines available.

opencpnplugins - Browse /logbookkonni_pi at SourceForge.net
File:
logbookkonni_pi_1.2019tst-1_i386.deb

Hope this works better.

Hi Peter - still no go:

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Im new to linux but poked around and got lucky. 1-2019 installed successfully.
$ sudo apt-get remove opencpn-plugin-logbookkonni
$ sudo gdebi /home/tgd/Downloads/logbookkonni_pi_1.2019tst-1_i386.deb

Looks nice! Thanks Peter.

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Due to the fact that for some time now the Dutch translation of LogbookKonni was terribly mixed up (due to new versions and possibly errors caused by the translation procedures used for CrowdIn) I did a major overhaul of the complete Dutch translation of LogbookKonni.

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

Remarks on Dutch translation of language file

The string "Water" is used both for 'water temperature' (in Meteo part of Logbook) and for 'water use' (in Engine part of Logbook). It's confusing and should preferably be changed such that two different string are available.

The translation of "Current" is - for unknown reasons - not changed when running the Plugin. It keeps showing "Getijstroom" instead of "Stroomrichting" (which is the translation I used).

Similar, the translation of "Priority:" is - for unknown reasons - not changed when running the Plugin. It keeps showing "Prioriteit:" instead of "Prio" (which is the translation I used).

In English, still the string "Weeks(s) is present. Should be "Week(s) of course.

Although technically not correct, I translated "Treenode" in Dutch as "Itemmap", and in one case as "Boomstructuur". This can generally be more easily understood by users in my opinion.

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

I hope I am not abusing this thread by asking this question.
Where does logbook Konni store it's data after closing down OpenCPN? Can't find the path in the preferences.
Second question: is it possible to create a polar diagram from the data delivered by Logbook Konni?

If you can tell which OS you are using I might tell you the path.
And when you have the needed NMEA data attached you should be able to create a polar diagram.

Here the paths for all OS's:

Linux: ~/.opencpn/plugins/logbook/data/logbook.txt
Windows: C:\users\Public\Application Data\opencpn\plugins\logbook\data\logbook.txt
OSX: 4.0.0 Library/Preferences/plugins/logbook/data/logbook.txt
OSX: 4.1.0 Library/Preferences/opencpn/plugins/logbook/data/logbook.txt

The polar plugin has an entry for reading the logbooks found in the above location and create a polar from that.

As long as the crowdin updates are not incorporated in the github repository and the plugin rebuild you will not see the changes.
There are some changes in the source files (like the weeks(s) text) that should be updated to crowdin.

I see all other changes I made after downloading the *.po file, making a *.mo file using PoEdit, and placing the *.mo file in the nl share map.

I've been translating OpenCPN and the plugins for some years now. During these years I was the major translator for the Dutch language. In other words, generally I know how it works. I still don't understand why some of the strings I mentioned in above message are not shown as the last translation I applied.

Re: Logbook Konni for OpenCPN

After I updated the Dutch translation of LogbookKonni, I started testing the textblock functionality. Doing this, I noticed the following strange behaviour:

1. Text te be entered in the Meteo Visibility column, appears in the Wave column;
2. Text to be entered in the Motor/Sails Sails column, appears in the Fuel column;
3. Text to be entered in the Motor/Sails Reef column, appears in the FuelTotal column;
4. Text to be entered in the Motor/Sails Remarks column, appears in the Water [use] column.

Which version of Logbook and OpenCPN are you using and on which OS?
