Little advice ?

Hello everyone,
i'm just curious is it possible to set autorun O in win xp/7 to sturtup in fullscreen mode ? annoying is the constant switching to fullscreen

yes.
Right click on the desktop icon.
Select "Properties" at the bottom.
Change RUN from "Normal Window" to "Maximized"

No, there's no way to start in full screen mode in the currently released version. If you can build from source, I just pushed https://github.com/OpenCPN/OpenCPN/c...f5834464fde288

Pavel,

because for the average Mac OS X user it is difficult to start a bundled app from Terminal, I suggest to make this feature a checkbox in options preferences instead of a command line only.
