Keep losing gps lock ocpn 4.8

Hi all,

I've been very happy with Opencpn, however recently ice started losing gps lock. My data is coming from a raspberry pi that is connected to a raymarine seatalk to nmea box as well as a second USB connection to ais (serial to usb converters on both). The pi is running kplex and putting the data stream on wifi. Hers a video of my symptoms.

I can't see the problem in your video. Maybe someone else?
But one comment: Try to send your wifi data by UDP rather than TCP and see if that makes any difference.

I did not look at the video, but:

• How long ago was it working?
• What has happened since then?
• Are there any other nearby large electrical draws or loads?
• Have you checked the voltage at all your devices?
• New hardware?
• Changed wiring?
• Moved something?
• Can you install another GPS device to see if that is the problem?
• or connect a GPS device directly to see what happens?
• Have you checked all the connections?
• Changes in software? Kplex etc?
